Damn. Well working in IT/QA I'm nothing if not good at breaking things! ^_^; I'm still super impressed that you were able to fit the firmware into only 3 of the 22k of space though Switching to a Palleted system would totally work for my appli…

Wewt! So many new functions to break!

Hey Jdeleo; I asked about this the other day, and currently the only way to restore it to factory default is here: http://blinkinlabs.com/blinkytape/docs/arduino/. It sounds like adding a factory restore to Pattern Paint may be on the way in a futu…

I've got another question about specs; not knowing what the compression ratio for pixels x pixels = frames, what is the maximum length that Pattern Paint can upload to the BlinkyTape? I currently have a 999 x 60 pixel image: http://i.imgur.com/bJqG…

That bacon looks amazing Amarfresh! I've put up a few additions to my stash. This time they're all painstakingly hand done in MS paint. Though they're a bit specialised to my project's needs, they're basic enough that you can copy/flip/reverse/pas…

Hmm, unfortunately not without either more LEDs, or without cutting your BlinkyTape, and resoldering it into a small square configuration like this: http://blinkinlabs.com/blinkytile :-\

Good to know all of that. Thanks Fromar and Matt!

Absolutely! ^_^ Like I said they're a bit rough, but with a little reworking could be really awesome, I've just been to busy to dig into paint and do it

Hey Threethan; sorry about that here's a gallery of compatible pics: http://imgur.com/a/eQHyZ#0 I did try attaching them directly but wasn't able to through paste, or simply dragging/dropping into the comment field so I gave up.

Here's what I've been playing with: http://soundergumi.imgur.com/all/ they're all from Google image searches but have been re-sized and a few have been modified (though they could all use a little work to make the animation smoother. . .

Wewt thanks! Additionally, Pattern Paint doesn't seem to be working with the .JPG file extension (at least in the Win7 version). .PNG and .BMP are both working perfectly though.
