USB Device Not Recognized

I just got my blinkytape today, plugged it in started playing with Pattern Paint then after successfully uploading several patterns everything went dead and now I get the USB Device Not Recognized error, any help anyone? My blinkytape seems to have had a 5 minute lifespan

I have tried it on other pcs with the same result.....

Just got your email, I'll be in touch with you there. It sounds like a hardware problem so we'll swap your tape out.

Thanks for your fast reply, and yes I agree seems very much like a hardware fail.
